I got a 650 05 AC. and my brother law and I wreck it. while deer hunting. It turned on its top and landed on us. We was doubling. I ended up having 16 stitches, and a screwed up neck. My brother in law ended up having 14 stitches and broken arm. Now i'm ready to fix my bike and i need some parts.
where can I get
1. The back plastic cover of the lcd screen. it is all busted up and all i need is a back plate.
2. A button for my winch cable that in on the handle bars.
3. the 4 wheel drive button.
4. the plastic cover that holds the lid to the box on your seat.
Thanks,
Cruff

Cruff,
Sorry to hear about your accident. As heavy as that machine is you and your frend are lucky to not be killed.
From looking at your parts list that you need and having needed the black plastic cover for the odometer and other parts myself (after a roll-over). I think you will find that you may have to purchase a whole new instrument pod, part you need may not be sold separately, winch cable switch should be easy, 4x4 button will probably require purchase of the whole switch pod thing, and plastic toolbox door might require purchase of whole new plastic section. I could be wrong but it has been my experience in replacing such parts on Honda, Yamaha, Polaris and AC machines that this sometimes happens. Its the way they are packaged.
You might look on ebay to see if someone is parting out a 650 too.

Cruff, I just found out the same thing. My display works fine, but the rollover crushed in the back plastic of it exposing the board inside. Like you, I found out that the display is expensive... too expensive for me to just replace the whole working component to fix.
Instead, I'm going to get some Lexan and rebuild the back and seal it the best I can. Not shure how I'm going to handle mounting at the moment, given the mounting tabs are a part of that back piece and they snapped clean off. ... I'm thinking I'll use nylon bolts through the lexan and glue the heads on the inside.
Am I nuts? Maby... lol...

Thought that might be a problem as I experienced it when I crushed my odometer on my 03 400. The first and second time I used JB weld to hold the pieces together. But, I finally had a 4th roll over and that totally crushed it so I had to buy a new one but its analaog and was around $100 not $275!
I thought I remember reading of someone on here that made a roll bar like thing between the handle bars to protectthe instrument pod. Might want to look at that. I just became a little more careful and quit rolling the bike over. Which has helped.
