There's one local in VA Beach for $1,300. Supposedly hasn't been ridden much over the past few years. If the condition is good and the motor smooth, is this a decent price? I've no experience with Warriors, but I've read many say they're bullet proof. Anything in particular I should pay attention too if I check it out?

When u check it out, see if u can test ride it for a few minutes going threw the gears. After, check for bent frame or anything big like that. The only way to tell if something small is broke is after u have riden it for a while. I bought a 2000 warrior, 3rd hand and it is still very strong. the only probs i had was a bad starter, other then that it is not a bad price not knowing any of the extras with it, but try to bargin

Expect to put some money into it buying an older quad. I would try to talk them down a little lower, but 1300 really isn't that bad if it's in good shape. Yes, definitely check over the frame closely for twists, bends, or cracks and rust on the paint where the frame may be cracked or bent. I discovered my warrior frame was bent after I got it, and the repair bill would have been $1500 if the dealer didn't cover 80% of it.

Thanks for tips! I will definetly take your advice. I'm not set on buying this one, but I do like the Warrior enough to keep watching the local classified newspaper for that "sweet" deal. I think I'll check it out just to get more familiar with them.
