Does anyone run sidewinder on their bikes???? I just got my ti-moly chain and sprockets in and they look real nice and are lightweight but i just wanted to see if they last as long and are as good as sidewinder claims

go to sidewindersprockets.com, thats their web site but you would be better off calling them on the phone, the number is 630-513-1000 and ask for donna, she is the race team coordinator and will hook you up with a real good deal on a ti-moly sprocket/chain kit you just got to bargin a bit and she will give you the race team discount.....tell her jason with the lakota sent you.

i know of two guys that rang the sidewinder chains and both guys snapped the chain and busted a whole through the case. even with all of sidewiders "claims of being the best" oh and "unbreakable"
sidewinder said they "MIGHT" buy the guys a new chain but the damaged side cases are not their fault..

good luck

Scholle had a bad experience with the sidewinder chains....broke his case and did quite a bit of damage(including the tranny).

I never had a SideWinder chain or sprocket failure ever. I've got them on my YZ250 and both my YZ450's. Their all I use. I ride or race every weekend somewhere. The only time I change them is when I desire a gearing change. As far as the other posts that mention chain breakage, Maybe they were running the chain too tight? I can't argue about any of it. Haven't seen it myself. Been racing and riding for 33 years. I'll continue to use them. JMO
