I have a 04 Wolverine and was wondering if the top speed of the new one is the same or higher as mine. I have 2 wishes for my Wolvy 1 is for a bit more power(answered by the 421cc engine of the 06) and 2 more top end for keeping up on long flat roads with buddy's Grizzs, BFs, and KingQuads.

 

im not sure but its slower then the wolvy 350 then its gonna be at least below 58mph

i have had mine at 52 not wide open still breaking it in

 

OK in my eyes thats not good. When I bought my 04 Wolverine it was bout 4hrs old n I was racing my cousin's stock 02 Blaster(dealer told my to start driving it like I would if it was broken in right away) and would get him off the start for a bit then he would very slowly catch up but not be able to pass me. I weigh 235lbs he is 180lbs. I think I remember hearing a stock Blaster hits bout 62???? So if you think its gonna get faster after break in I don't think so but may be wrong, cuz mine didn't. So if your only hitting 52 now I'd be going backwards if I got one. But please keep me posted. Thanks!!!

 

Does being in or out of 4 wheel drive affect top speed? Is the top speed a little low to give it more at the bottom end? Is it a rev limiter kicking in?
