Default 2004 Sportsman 700-mechanical

Hi there, I was hoping I could get some tech advice from you guys. Last weekend I was out with the kids at bragg creek and my quad just shut itself down after about 10 minutes of riding. It has fresh fuel, plugs, and has been serviced regularly. After about 30 seconds with the inginiton off, I could refire it and it would run for about another 10 minutes. Eventually I was able to get back to the truck. I have tried the throttle control adjustment but that does not seem to be the answer. Anyone have any thoughts on the problem.

Bad fuel?

Maybe ignition system (coils, stator, cdi)?

Next time it is running bad or won't start pull the spark plug wire and test for spark.

I have a 03 700. If the display is dead you may have a main breaker going bad. If you let it stand with the key off for 10 min and the power comes back that could be it. The breaker is under the the front cover in a little black bag. Thier is two of them and I can't remember witch one it is good luck.
