Default Building a XC LT80

Hi All! I have been reading alot of good info on here! I met and raced with Jack Moore at the 2005 12 Hour of ATV America and found out he worked on the LT80s. I have already sent him the engine. I have also ordered Works Shocks, Trinity pipe, ITP wheels, New tires 19/7x8, Fly Handle bars and a custom seat cover. My son is 12 and weighs about 70lbs, and will be racing it at our local HareScrambles and a few GNCC races.

Jack is doing the whole engine, clutch and gearing for us. I have called ATV Racing and they are out of the +3 A Arms and they are not sure when they are going to have them made. Is there another place that may sell them? Or does any one have a set for sale? I have also called Hetrick Racing and they dont make any for the LT80. They do have the extenders though.

What have you guys done about the crapy rubber foot pegs? I thought I would cut out a old pair I have off of our blaster and welld them on the tube. Any other ideas to put a good set of pegs on the LT80?

Any other sugestions would be great!
Thank you all!

I JUST DID A SET OF FOOT PEG BUT HAVENT PUT THEM ON THE BIKE YET. I USED WARRIOR FOOT PEGS. THEY WORKED PERFECT AND IF YOU MEASURE RIGHT THEY HAVE A HOLE ON THE END FOR THE STOCK HEEL GUARDS OR NERF BARS OR NOTHING IF YOU PREFER. I ALSO CUT THEM I HALF AND WELDED A PIPE IN ONE SIDE SO I CAN TAKE OFF ONE SIDE IF I WANT. IF YOU WANT APICTURE EMAIL ME. I DONT KNOW HOW TO DO MUCH ON HERE, IM NEW. IT WOULD HAVE TO BE THROUGH MY EMAIL.

I've seen a few folks just find some pegs they like and adapt them.
I haven't changed ours yet , but someday I hope....

BTW, where did you order your WORKS shocks from????????

Good Luck........

ttyalor I found them on Ebay. They are from http://cycletires.com. They dont have them on there any more for what I paid. (109 shipped to me for all 4) I think the brand name is INNOVA. They look like as good as any others. I guess we will see once we start racing on them.
