Your Knarly's should do just fine. There are many who run them in the GNCC circuit. Those tires are made for such trails.

2 things: ALOT (alot) of kids on here dont race santioned races..they race their friends Banshees,Raptors,Bombs,Preds and all seem to win by anywhere between 2-12 quad lenghts..no matter what size quad they are on.

I race harescrambles here in Mi. I raced both the Razr 2 and Razr-R

I use the Razr-R for forward bite in muddy condtions. And The Razr 2 in all other coditions.

I kept the Razr-R fronts all year cause they seem to track very well.

Forget about the motor and get shocks.
That's my 2 cents.

I agree with LT80, shocks first!!! You can run a stock class and be very affordable, but in a XC event, if you are wanting to go faster, suspension first!! In a 2+ hour event, you will go faster if you aren't tired at the end, and you want suspension that can handle the changing conditions during a race...and they change fast!!!
