700 EFI cold weather starting?
#1
I am wondering if anone has had their 700 EFI in really cold weather? I am talking 20 below weather. I am looking at side by side 4 wheelers and will be leaving it out on the ice all winter and need it to start when cold. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any help.

can't answer your question, but you definately are asking a lot of any machine in that situation. granted, for the money, it should come with a remote starter, cd player and a hot blonde, but I would suggest that no matter what you purchase, you remove the battery and take it with you and keep it relatively warm in between outings.

OldDoc,
I am working 200km north of fort Nelson B.C. it was -30 celcius (-22F) here this morning and I hadn't started my 700 EFI for a few days and its been around that temp here for week, mine fired right up. So no worries the cold start. Just make sure your battery is fully charged.

Thanks Tom. That is exactally what I have been wanting to hear. I have power down by the lake so I can keep a battery tender on it to keep it fully charged. You helped me with my decision. Thanks again.
