throttle response

Default throttle response

my throttle response is real crappy. what would be some causes of this.

Bad plug, bad gas, crap in carb, springs worn out on ft and rear clutches.
Jetting, needle position, not holding throttle wide open, to much oil in fuel, dirty air filter.

I love oil injection.

Not being clutched to the pipe will cause this too.

too lean,too rich?
compression fade off...
what engagement that quad take off?

after having the throttle on for a few secs it will then hook up. it seems to happen mostly on the bottom end. i have only noticed it since the engine was bored over for the second time now.

i donnt know if it is clutched of not it goes good when working but again since engine was done it has been ripping belts apart

sounds like clutch alignment may be off. Also, you'll need a clutch kit to work best with that AAEN pipe.

how do you check the alignment and how do i tell if it has been re clutched

I believe the stock clutching is white primary and red secondary. Go to HPD's website for checking clutch alighment. It is in their tech tips section.
