what is the shift pattern on these thigs 4 down ? it says 1 down 3 up but when you go up from 1st your back in nuetural?

 

I could swear my meerkat was 4 down then back to neutral?
It may actually be the reverse of that but I am sure that all gears
were in the same direction. And I am also sure that it goes in a complete circle.

As you stated if its 1 down 3 up then yeah 1 up from 1st would be neutral.

 

The gears are 1-2-3-4-0 1-2-3-4-0 etc...

 

All down right ? So if your in neutural and go up you will be in 4th right?
