Hey fellas...i think its been way too long since i've been on here and i doubt that many of you remember me...but i finally broke down and put my sport up for sale and im gettin rid of it...going down on sunday to buy a pred. or next tuesday to get a different one. ALRIGHT, ill give you guys the situation and you can give me your opinions...

Choice one: price is 3600, its a private seller but he's had nicholas cycle do all of the work on it. It has the WB exhaust and the nicholas cycle carb mod. the pegs, bumper, an grab bar all aftermarket..different handlebars..radiator scoops. He told me that there was a lot of other stuff on it but he couldnt remember. All the mods on it now is basically every little thing you coudl do to it. As for motor work its all stock.

Choice two: the price is 4000 but its from a dealer so i could trade in the sport and get a good 1500. It has the Nicholas Cycle stage one kit on it..im not sure what that all contains but it has everything from the kit besides the exhaust becuase he took it off before he gave it to the dealership.

im kinda of stuck between the too. i mean if i could get rid of the sport for 1800 i would save alot more on the private deal but thats an IF. just want to hear ya'll opinions.

 

What year are those quads?2005 & 06 have reverse,05 TLD has a close ratio trans but I have heard there is a gap between 4th & 5th may not be a big deal.Nicholas Cycle web site will explain some of the mods (best work for pred in "04" 2 national wins by Daryl Rath)It sounds like they are very simular.Pipe and carb mod , intake air box mods are the best mods without going in the motor.It really comes alive!

 

they are both 04's..the one that is 4000 is a TLD and the other is STD i think

 

I have the 04 TLD and I love it .If the one from the dealer is missing the slip on then I would go for the other it sounds like it has more stuff anyway.The nicholas kit consist of clamp on filter,breathers,carb mods ,jetting,slip on exhaust.

 

GO with the TLD for the better suspension.
