OK..I just had the transmision rebuilt . And when I first got it back it worked ok. but I could tell it didn't feel the same.{when shifting}..Now it has forward gear, neutral{with no neutral light} and when you put it in reverse the neutral light comes on and the bike just sits there like it's in neutral?? any ideas??? Thanks!!

THe snapring that holds the reverse clog in place on the shaft has came loose. Not a big deal but you have to pull the tranny out.

im with x first, check to make sure they connected your linkage right, you may need to change what tooth on the spline its sitting on, thenif that doesnt do it then yes when they put the gear clog on they did it wrong ir clip broke.

Hey bongload,
If your neutral light comes on when your in reverse, then I'm sorry to say that something went wrong in your trans. Don't waste your time with adjustments. Pull your trans and have it fixed. And keep your cool when you pull it and install it. Don't forget to use a good case sealer when you put it back together or you'll be pulling the trans again.
