I am looking ot buy a new qaud and am still fairly new. I am looking at 4 bikes, yamaha yfz450, raptor 700, honda 400, or suzuki z400. I am 5'11 about 170 and will probably just use it for glamis dunes, maybe some trail riding. What would the better bike be? I usually ride my family's quads, they have a warrior 350 and blaster. Looking for something with more power than those two and understand anyone of these 4 would be a vast improvement. Thanks for any info or opions you can give me.

 

What about the Honda 450r? The DS650 is a great machine as well.

 

All the quad listed are nice. And I think you will be happy with any one of them.
But of the quads you spoke of, I think the Raptor700R is a sweet play bike!

 

The Honda is the best trail quad. The Z is a good trail quad, and the Raptor would be my third choice for trails.

In the dunes, you need big horsepower and that would be the 450. The Raptor and Z pull nice in the dunes as well, but the EX is a bit underpowered.

 

Well I got an awesome deal today and bought a new quad. Thanks for all of your input. I ended up getting 2005 yfz 450.
