after market rancher shocks
#1
I was thinking of getting progressive 512 series shocks for my rancher just for trail riding. If there is anyone who has them I whould appreciate any info about them before I waist my money. Progressive says that most of there shocks are longer than stock for more travel so I whould get a smother ride at faster speeds over rough terrain. If anyone can confirm that for me I whoud greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

Fun,
There have been a number of posts regarding the 512s. I have used them for a year on my 2001 350 Rancher and really like them. I tend to carry pretty heavy loads with a dog and other hunting gear on the back rack so I have that shock set pretty stiff and set the front shocks to medium and have been very pleased with ride and performance. I do about 4 miles of railroad tracks each time I use the quad and the ties can be pretty rough and I go through shocks pretty quickly. I have been pleased with the performance and so far have no issues to report. I don't think you wil be disappointed.
