I went with 20" on the rear and 19" on the front. It made a huge difference in performance and ride. I got mine from Dennis kirk.

i'm thinking i'm gonna follow 2many's lead with the 19" fronts and 20" rears.

up front i'm looking at 19x7x8, but i'm stumped on how wide to go on the rear. the stock rear tires are 9.5" wide. i can save a bundle if i go with 20x11x8, but i'm concerned about how this will impact performance. the other options are to put either 7", 8" or 10" wides on the rear.

what's the word from those 'in the know'?

I think generally you don't want to go with anything that is more narrow than the stockers. If possible, go wider. It will give you more stability. Since the wider tires would be in the rear and you wouldn't have to worry about turning radius or anything like that an extra inch wide would be alright.

i have a hot lead on a pair of 21x10x8 rear tires. should i be concerned with having 19" high tires up front and 21" tires in back? i've eyeballed the machine and there's certainly room for the higher rear tires....

another option would be to go 20" on the front and 21" on the rear. again, it looks like 20" would fit up front, especially given the falcon's notoriously stiff suspension, but it might be cutting it a tad close.....

i went with 21x10x8 knobbies on the rear, got 'em from denniskirk for about $36/per. the fit with no problem and the kids aren't complaining about any significant changes in performance.

now i'm looking at the front tires (which suddenly appear way too small with the 21" on the rear) and see that wally-world has 20x7x8 carlisles for about $30/per.

are 20" too big for the front?

I would turn the bars from lock to lock and see how close the stock tire gets to the frame, a-arms, fenders when at full lock. You might want to remove the shocks and cycle the suspension at full lock and see if anything hits. If you could return the tires you could just but them and if they dont fit return them.

The 110 my brother-in-law has a very wide turning radius due to these little "posts" being in the way when he turns. If we cut those off we would get a tighter turn. That's something to look into on your 110 since you are going with bigger tires. Those "posts" being there might allow you to have the bigger tires without rubbing on anything where taking them off might cause problems with the bigger ones.
