$10 for a crappy little filter about 70% the size of the 400ex filter. Geez. Guess I will be using Emgo for the 450r too.

What about K&N Oil Filters, are they any good? I saw where Rocky Mountain sells them for 4.99 for my Rancher 350

yea, K&N are good filters. They are about $7.50 for the 450r though.

i went to advanced auto parts and they sell the fram oil filter for the majority of honda's, they are 6 bucks i think, but it beats going to the dealer, and they sell the valvoline motorcyle oil, so i'm gonna start using them

Of all the filters out there, I would stay away from Fram. Bad reputation on just about every study I've read (6 or 7 can't remember). Think Puralator (Puralator One) got one of the best ratings.
