Ok i have a 2002 alpha sports 90cc quad that im having alittle problem with. Whats wrong is the quad starts and idols but when i press in the throttle its like it can get enough power to go anywhere and when you press the throttle in further it will stall out. Any info on how to fix it would be greatly apreciatted.

Sounds like the carb. Make sure the carb is getting fuel. Might be the jetting or a fouled plug. If its a 2-stroke the carb might be gunked up and the floats are sticking.

 

ok thanks ill try cleaning the carb and even though the plug looks good ill change it.

 

I had the same problem and it was a clogged fuel filter.
