Default 650 shifting problems

I have an 05 650 that has some shifting issues. Part of this was related to a comment on another posting...idle too high. Now I've had it in the shop at least 3 times for the same issue, and it still seems like it's going to be problematic. It clunks into high from neutral, and doesn't really slide into low. Anyone else having these issues with an automatic? Any ideas? The first time I brought it in, they adjusted the "linkage". Is that something I can do? Seems like the mechanics are incompetent, so I hate to bring it back despite the warranty.

Also, one of my friends told me they had a friend with the same issue. In the end, it was an unadvertised recall (or whatever you call it for non-critical issues). The dealer struggled to fix theirs several times, but then they contacted AC and they notified them of the fix. Not sure what year/model theirs was, so I guess I'll have to look into that. Anyone else know?

You've possibly answered your own question, have dealer call Arctic Cat, it does not cost the dealer anything to call. If they won't call you need to find another dealer. Contact customer service if you can't get anywhere.

Most definate. My dealer(who is 1 guy in a 2 guy shop in my small town) met me at the shop on his day off to look at a problem (which was operator error) and was prepared to fix what ever he had to. Thats a good dealer!
