just got back from paris for one race, a and i went up against a few 700, a few honda 450r, and Kx 400..and guess who won...oh heck yes i did...most of them had pipes and little other twinkie mods, but i won by prob 5 seconds, after 15 laps, i am stock, i have just have softened up the suspension...so i've decided something..you can have the baddest quad in the world(of course i chose the yfz 450) but if you dont know how to ride the thing correctly..then you dont have a good quad, all's you have is money wasted..because you dont know what you have

 

I agree. I would also say, that a lesser rider will be faster on say a 450r or 700 then on a yfz, as if you dont ride the yfz to its full extent like it was designed to do, then your just wasting what you have! A 700 is much more forgiving, as is the 450r. they have a lot of low end power. The yfz has all mid and top. Its meant to scream!
