New Kids Sportsman 90
#2
Jeff,
We have an E-ton 90. E-ton makes the motor & tranny for the Polaris kids quads. We have over 500 miles it since April of this year. There was only one minor problem so far & that was a fouled spark plug. I would rather have the oil injectors run a little rich than lean. These motors don't use any oil, I am still on my first quart of oil (Yamalube).
There is an autochoke so no lever to mess with.
The only maitenance we have done so far has been one chain adjustment. We did put some wider tires on it to make it more stable on the off camber trail rides that we go on & to give him better traction in the slop & mud.

we bought a scrambler 50 yesterday.
i am really impressed with it.
bulletproof or not, it is a quality ride.
i don't know about where you live, but i've seen these kids quads and dirt bikes still sell for just under retail when they are 2-3 years old!
so buy it, you won't lose any money on it.
i broke it in for my kid. it sputtered and ran like crap for about 2 blocks. we put about 2 hours on it last night and i could see a noticeable improvement in power and smooth running. it starts on the first revolution of the starter. when i brought it home, i could not start it. i killed the battery trying to get it started. keep in mind it was about 20 degrees and i hauled it 90 miles home in the back of the truck. i was half tempted to bring it back. but it started and i know it's only been one day, but it's great!!!!
