Well seing how it was moved to a diff forum and I'm a bomb guy here is the link.

Virus warning moved to new software forum, and I know alot of you guys don't go there.

Please remember this virus destroys PDF's, Spreadsheets, and most of the DATA that you have collected over the years, please be careful cause I know to loose this data it would set the bomb's back years in research and development. =[

Have they figured out a way to stop it from affecting files yet?? If your computer was infected.
It was suppose to start happening today right?

I am not sure who moved that from the bomb forum but I thought it was pretty good info but here is a quicker link than the copy and paste:

Most popular antivirus software ( the ones with advanced heuristics capabilities ) will grab it.

Yes it happens today and the third of every month.

If it infects your computer,,,,, well your done it rewrites all data files, thats how most people know they where hit. =[

Thanks Raptory for fixing the link, I was fixing it when you posted. lol. =]

This is good to know. I would hate for one of our turbo guys to download this into his EFI and have it screw up his air/fuel ratios and over boost the ride. Can never be too careful when it comes to worms

There now it relates to the bombs.

Thanks Dragon.......I didn't look at it that way. lol. =]

But that said its kinda nice to be able to come to this forum and read about atv's kinda hard to do that with a hosed computer. lol.

Man It would suck to have all your diagnostic data that you have been saving for years, or your excel or pdf data sheets with OEM part numbers or Calibration figures destroyed. Makes you wonder how many pdf manuals one can have. But hey... Guys like Oldmanracing can just start over. Right Smoothguy!..........HPR and AVI can just make some new CNC input programs. It's easy anyone can do it so your right Smoothguy it should be removed.

Dam am I pissy today or what. lol. =]

Bump,

Just wanted to make sure everyone is aware. It sucked working all weekend of ppl's computer woes, but the worst ones were when we had to tell them yes mame I'm sorry but all youre data is gone =[. All the pic's of the grandkids, etc. I'd just hate for y'all to loose your data on the bomb.
