Yesterday I went and looked at them. The banshee has new wheels and tires (itp) and a pipe. The raptor looks pretty much stock. The sign says the raptor needs clutch work. but only 36 hours on it.


What do you think? Good buy?

The sign says $4500 but I only want to spend $4000. I do not need them at all.

What is the banshee worth if I where to sell it alone. At least $2000 right?

Yea at least $2000. What year are they? What condition are they in? Did you ride them yet? If not tell them you wnat to ride both of them.If i was you i might only give 4000. If there in good condition. Yea that would be an ok deal.

 

Well I went and checked them out. And I got him down to $3800. With a helmet and really nice ramps to load it into a truck.

The banshee has itp wheels and tires. And they are the nice wheels like type 6 but for sport quads. I forgot the pipe name.


They are both look very good. Other than the excessive (sp) amount of stickers the guy added.

He said he never started the raptor cuz of the clutch being messed up. I guess the guy b4 tried to put a racing clutch in or something. And did not know what he was doing. Thats why it does not work. And the battery is dead.

Im goin back this week to pick them up. And I will bring jumpercables to get it started.

It should be ok to start it in nuteral right?

Your clutch will still be spining even in nuteral. If the guy just install after market clutch/friction plates or springs, then its pretty safe to say its just set wrong. If an after market clutch basket was used then you may want to open it up and check it out first. They make it pretty simple to get to the clutch and may be worth opening it no matter what. It will also give you a reason to change the oil. Is it a Raptor 350? if so, I can send you the sections of the manual for doing all the clutch work.

GOOD. I have no plants on keeping the banshee.

I will prob let it go for around 2000

But I will be putting the stock rims back on it.

Went and picked them up. Im very happy. I have wanted a raptor for a LONG time. The banshee is ready to rock. But it will be a while until I get to ride the raptor. I need to replace the clutch. And there is kinda prob with the title. But there are ways around that. It just takes time.

I will have pics up once I figure out how to resize them.
