Grizzly won't engage into reverse
#1
Hey all, I've got a 2000 Grizzly that suddenly refuses to go into reverse! I checked the cable that goes from the shifter to the footbrake - that all looks good. Didn't know if anyone else had experienced this or had any advice / tech help? Thanks!

Just an update on this:
I disconnected the shift rod and took apart the shifter. The shifter was a little sticky. I put the shifter back on and made sure the shift rod was nice and straight. I also adjusted (loosened) the foot brake cable that goes into the shifter - I think this was the main culprit. Got everything back together and reverse now works fine.

Look at your shifter - it's the rod that runs from the shifter to your transmission. Also - at the bottom front of your shifter is where your foot brake connects - you can adjust this foot brake connection, that might be your problem. Also the shift rod is threaded and can be adjusted - it might be a combo of both.
Im glad I got mine working, let me know if ya git yers fixed!
