Williebee,
Sounds like it could be a couple of things, your skid plate rattling against your frame or other plastic parts rattling. It could also be a compression release valve rattling which is normal for new machines. If its a squeaking noise from beneath your left leg while riding at slower speeds then it could be your exhaust pipe rubbing on the frame right beneath the seat on near your left leg.
From the way you have described it I think its the compression release valve. Goes away, mostly, once you have about 500miles on and switch to synthetic oil.
I believe these machines were not designed to operate with the high octane fuel. Normal 87 octane will work great. Plus it saves you some $ on fuel. Just make sure to put some Heet in to keep water out of the fuel. (blue bottled stuff, don't remember what type of alcohol it is). Keeps it starting easier, especially in cold weather.
Hope this helps, and enjoy your new ride.
Oh, welcome to the forum.

Thanks guy's for the input, i got a chanch to ride again today for about an hour; and i found out what the problem was. wasn't the ac i was riding up a steep hill along a utility power line right of way in high range when the noise started, tried it in low today with no noise at all ; this is my first auto tranny atv. dealer told me i'd only need low when i was pulling towing i only weigh 137lbs and my other machine's were an 86 honda 350 foreman and a 93 suzuki king quad 300 4x4's both these were manual shift's ! I just wasn't thinking with a full deck at the time, and thanks for the tip on the fuel i can sure use the $$$$ saved . I've been disabled since i lost both legs below the knees in auto accident in 1975, these atv's have taken me places i couldn't get to before i lost my legs. Don't know what i'd do without one ! God Bless you all...williebee
