can anyone tell me anything about the stock expansion chamber on the drx 90. is it as good as or close to the performance of Hetricks or WRH's pipes? are they a name brand or cheapies from taiwan? just curious. thanks

 

We have an 04 Cat that came with the pipe with an expansion chamber. It's a pretty good pipe for a stock 1. But it's nothing compared to the Hetrick pipe. We put the Hetrick Power up kit in it. The kit comes with Pipe and complete clutch mod kit and jets. I believe it's around $300 for you. You will not believe the difference. It will make that mini rip. My son rides for the Hetrick National XC team and they are very nice folks to deal with. Give them a call. Tell them the boy sent ya.

 

The pipe on your DRR DRX90 is not the same as the one on the Artic cat, It is actually a Works pipe which was put on the bike by DRR to replace the stock pipe.

 

thanks for the reply fellas. it must be a koso exhaust, from what i've read. they seem to be all top end. the bike rips at high rpm's but just wanted to know if one of the other pipes makes better overall power,more bottom and mid with good top end, for xc racing and some trail riding along with mx.
