I need to start on my motor build now. I am hopping to have my frame back in about 2 weeks. What will make a real good combo. I want atleast 760 cc. I am going to send the head to craycraft, and I am going to bore it out to 105mm. Should I get the nikasil plating. And what should I do for the crank. i was thnking about either the hot rods crank or one of mad man engineering's cranks. Is there anything bigger than a +5mm crank. And what would be a good cam to go with. Thanks.

 

if craycraft is doing the motor, maybe you should beg him and try and get your hands on one of his drag cams. they perform very nice.

 

I am going to have craycraft do the head. I plan on assembling the motor. I am just undecided on what I want to do with it. More than anything I just really need to decide on what crank I am going to use. and how high I am going to go on the compression.

 

Your best bet would be to call Bob and talk over the build with him....he could do your headwork and get you most of the parts you'll need for your assembly....he'll also probaly go over the crank/rod options with you as well.
