Kazuma/Redcat After Market Needed
#1
All,
If not yet, their is a big aftermarket demand for these quads. Does anyone know of any at this time or when to expect some? I'm really praying that somebody will come up with something for my Kazuma Adult 250...I feel like I need to get off and push to help it out...on low RPMs. I think it has potential. SEADAWGText

the best performance gain you can do for low end torque is changing the variator roller weights, costs around $15.00-$20.00. i don't know what size is in your kazuma 250,so you need to take them out and measure them, the width and diameter, then you also need to weight them, once you determined this, then all there is is order new lighter ones, example if they're 20-24gr weight you'd wanta go to around 15gr, if they're 25-30gr replace them with 20 gr weights. changing the roller weights will not affect top speed, will only affect botton end performance. you can order them from www.miamimoto.com or find a atv dealer in your area and have them order mrp roller weights, their web address is www.mrp-speed.com. one more thing before i go, it only takes about 20minutes to change weights for the first timer once you do it then it takes around 10 minutes or less the second time, you will need a air inpact wrench( highly recommended ) if you haven't done this before then do a search on the web, key words are roller weights, variator, motor scooter roller weights, ect. or you can read and learn more about them at www.buggienews.com. if you have any more questions about roller weights feel free to private message me and i'll try to answer them. one more thing to remember when looking at the web for information is all cvt transmission operate the same they all have a variator, a belt and a clutch, so it doesn't matter what web site you look at it doesn't hafta say kazuma,as long as it a cvt transmission.
