Default 800 Outlander accessories

For those of you looking to accessorize your 800 Outlander, here's where I have traveled so far. Hope this info helps..

Just finished installing a Viper 2500 winch kit from motoalliance (ebay). The kit was a good bargain at only $171.00 shipped. Big difference from the price of a Warn. I might use a winch a few times in the spring in the snow, and maybe during late summer mud. Who needs a $500.00 winch for that? Anyways, it installed as advertised with everything needed except I didn't get any mounting hardware for the contactor, but a few purchased 10-32 bolts with locknuts later I was back in business.

The mudguard extension kit was very easy to install, if you figure out how to mark the holes for drilling. After that minor little hump they installed quickly.

I will install my windshield next. It's on backorder, hope to have it by 3/1.

Cheers,

Jeff

Tell me about installing the winch? How hard was it and did it come with good directions?
Thanks
Randall

They give you on online link for the mount, and good instructions for the wiring, I had no issues.

I just sent them an email request, because I couldn't find them on Ebay, and here is the response.

I have attached the installation instructions. I don't know if it will work with the '06 Outlander. Your best bet would be to check with your dealer to see if the 05 mount plates would work... or if the frame has changed at all from '05 to '06.

There was no Outlander 800 Max in 2005.
So goes the question....does it fit the 2006 800 Outlander Max? Your's evidently does.
So what is the P/N? I want to order one, but I want to get the correct one.
Did you get the whole kit, mounting bracket and all from them?

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to get the correct one and install it with the least hassle.
Thanks again
Randall
