i need some more power out of my 2001 DS650

when i first got it i was liek wow ill nvr use all this power but after riding it for 4 months i realized its not that fast...being a 16 year old kid that pays for evrything myself its kinda hard to make it go faster

got any ideas for me to make it faster but not spend too much money n nopt get into the motor

carb, ported intake, pipe, jetting, gearing.

Look into getting your intake ported. Its around $150, and there are several different companies that do it. Check out On-Dunes, they go through HPR. I was impressed with the results. With your other mods (K&N and end cap) it should wake things up a bit and you don't have to get into the engine. After that CDI and carb... but you'll have to shell out some duck$ for those.

Try OMR's stock carb mods. I have not done them yet, but want to. Everyone who has has said it was awesome.

Yes, they are well worth the time and effort. Even without the DynaJet kit the gains and the response to throttle are just crazy for the cost. FREE![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Apply them and hang on.
