Griz' rear shock adjustment

Default Griz' rear shock adjustment

Are they adjustable, and if so, how?

there is a silver colar, on the bottom of the shock, you should see grooves on it with notches, just turn that, and depending on which way you go, it will either stiffen the suspension or make it softer.

Just jack it up and turn the silver collar on the bottom of the shock with either a spanner wrench or a vise grips.

Is there an easy way to adjust the pre-load on the trail?

like i said, spin the colar, it doesn't have to be jacked, just have the tool and it is EASY.
