wich do you think is better i have a honda 400ex and i like it but its not fast enoghe and the suspesion is not good enoghe i ride on trails and jumps and contry roads and farm fields what is the pros and cons of the two bikes

 

I have to laugh. This forum has a YFZ vs TRX thread about twice a week. Everybody says the same things and then a guy jumps in to say you should buy a Predator so everyone argues about that.

Do a search and you will find everything you will hear here but in less time.

Btw, since you aren't racing, I would look toward the Raptor 700R. It has plush suspension and a comfy seat and tons of power right out of the box.

YFZ 450 is just a PWNing quad. Looks as mean as it rides. Theres no diffrence between YFZ 450 and Honda 450r as far as preformance goes, its what ever floats your boat. Any shootout between these two machines would be to close to call. The looser made an error somewhere. When honda puts reverse on the 450r, that might be the deciding factor.

Anyhow i got a 06 YFZ 450 and love it ! I put a GYT-R pipe and jet kit on it, tossed the airbox lid .....threw in a K&N profilter and pre filter on it .....and its more power than i willl ever need but happy its there [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

You should go with the 450r or raptor 700, there a more comfortable quad for ridin trails and plenty of power for what you need.

 

LOL the 700r is crap i beat on sat. morning by 3 lengths wasnt even a race and the guy knew what he was doin cuze his son was on a hopped up nicholas built pred and his wife had a pretty fast KFX 700 thew only one that was hangin with me was his sons predator

 

i would hope that u could beat a 700 with the mods your saying you have. i didnt say it was the fastest i said it would be plenty of power for what HE needs.

If I had the mods you had and I beat a 700r by only 3 lengths I'd be pissed!!! My piped 450r only loses by 2-3 lengths to my buddies 700r, and he's a better rider.
and no this doesn't mean I want to race you either, it means your YFZ is slow for the work you have done.
