ditched the badlands, great so far NO LEAKS

I had been having many problems with my stock 06 500 tires . They kept loosing or should I say dumping the air as I was driving. The front was worse than the back. This happened 20-25 times in 230+-miles. Complained about this on a old thread and many people said put "slime" in my tires. I had a problem with this as I just spent alot of money for a quad with new tires that should hold flippen air! Told dealer about this and they said to re-bead them,so I did that.still went flat. The only way to keep tires up while driving was to keep like 14-15 psi in them, and they would still go down day to day. So dealer changed all 4 on warranty, great right cuz all I ask is for a Quad that I can drive after spending this much money. I got a buddy to pick them up for me when I went to get them from his place to put them on so I could plow some snow, one front one is already flat. So by this time I am loosing it, not to mention my wife ( you married guys know what I mean)! Talked to dealer , made a deal on some Kenda Executioners. 27 inchers. Put 80 miles on these so far and no flats sitting or driving. Bye the way these tires are great. gave me just shy of 14 in. of clearance and great traction. Any one who see's them has gotta love their bead protector. So long of the short I think Badlands are JUNK ! Sorry if I had ofended anyone who has them and likes them and never had a problem ....maybe it was a bad lot or something I dont know.

i was having the same problem was loosing air on my second trip out but not having the cash to put up for tires plus the wife would have killed me but i used slime i didnt want to but it worked so far i put 50 or 50 miles on them like this and there good i think the badlands are a great rockcrawling tire they have gotten me through everything i needed but loosing air seems to be a trend for these

Bear I'm not really sure why you feel compelled to shoot me down? All I was trying to say was the problems I had and how the dealer helped me to remedy this problem, which was obviously the tires. Some people are having troubles with these tires, if you dont thats fine but don't try to humiliate someone by cutting down their post.

So far so good . Got into some deep hard snow with the plow and chewed my way out quite well. With the other ones I would have been digging with a shovel. Everything I have read about them on other forums is good. Can't wait for summer to try them in some mud

7MM - Thanks for the taking the time to post about the new tires. I'm new to ATVs and just got my first one in December. Posts like yours are really helping me understand what to look for.
Bear - Lighten up! The negative replies you've made the last week or so are becoming annoying. Your technical advice is great, but your sarchasim isn't.

oh come on guys give bear a break he may be an old contankerous guy but he is a good guy and gives great advice he will grow on ya. as for the badlands i agree they are JUNK i had mine for about 50 miles and they went flying off my wheeler and never looked back. the handling is way better and the badlands yes i could see them being good for rock crawling but they weren't very good in the mud and didn't have them long enough to test them in the snow. for your average rider they are probably fine but well alot of people demand alot from their atv and other then getting a winch i would say get a good set of tires is the first step to making a great atv for all conditions. with an atv that sits as high as arctic cat i can't brag enough of the 6-ply. i dunno if the executioners are but i am glad you like them
