Anyone seen the 650 outty?

I have seen/sat on one, but I haven't driven it yet. I will post a review about it at www.MyOutlander.com as soon as I get my hands on one. My wife is due for a new bike soon, and I think this is probably what she will be getting. It is a nice quad and reminded me of my Outlander 800. It looks like the only difference was the engine displacement.

Hi MyOutlander, thanks for reply and I will be waiting for the review. My local bomby dealer has given me an 800 for three days to try. What a machine. My wife and I put about 50 miles on it yesterday and today I am going solo. ( it is the max xt ) It has more than enough power thats for sure. I love the ride and my wife loves it too. (Biggest selling point) I couldn't tell she was on behind me that is how much room it has. Well I will report back after todays solo ride. See ya,

Sounds like that dealer is hungry to let you go put all those miles on that bike and maybe not get the sale. That says to me "Lets Haggle"! Great ATV, you won't be sorry if you end up buying the 800 max!

Took the 800 back yesterday am and I asked the dealer if I could try a 400 max xt and he gave me one for the weekend. The only thing is I spoiled myself by trying the 800 first. The 400 seems lighter but throttle response and ride wise is lacking compared to the 800. I think I might try to deal for the 800 demo, only 1200 kms and in mint shape. I think the 650 will seem under powered compared to 800 now that I have had it for 3 days. The dealer isn't desperate either he just wants to make sure I get the right atv for me. Will be deciding Monday if I order the 650 or buy the 800. Decisions, decisions who likes them?

If you get the 800, get a spare key at that time. I have been told more stories as to getting a spare key than I can count. I still don't have one. The 800 is a 650lb paper weight if you loose the key and don't have a spare as it has to be at the dealers' to have a new one programed for it. Think of the fun with no key miles from the nearest road.
