Hey Slipjoint, we're neighbors!

My buddy went to Roseville Yamaha to get a new YFZ450 and they wanted MSRP+tax+$895 freight/set up fees, a little over 8K OTD. He called me and asked what I thought, I went online checked out Eastbay Motorsports in Hayward, same quad 6699 OTD, he drove down to Hayward the next day and got one there.

I hope you got a decent deal. What did you get?

saved over 400 bucks from what my local dealer wanted - i could have saved another 200 by going to Oakland to LA sports - but it was worth 200 to me because i try to stay as local as i can - some dealers wanted over 800 dollars more than what i paid - you know the old set-up -- double freight--- doc fee's - handling fee's - slimy stuff

the city leased most of it out & it's now a motorcross track - really a sad deal for all the guys who like to take their family to the pad & ride a few hours without having to pay a big chunk of dollars - most of us have move to the gold fields - 10,000 acre rock pile - it's quad heaven - one of the major reasons i got the quad - i ride my KLR dual sport out there also & it's fine as long as you stay on the road - if you havent been to the gold fields you need to check it out - matter of fact couple of us are going out tomorrow - t
