My family (about 40 quad people) is strictly yamaha, and polaris. Now i have to chose between a yfz 450, raptor 700, and predator 500. please, i dont want any fanboys. And i'm sick of people saying the predator sux, it comes with many aftermarket parts on it. So please, i would like you guys HONEST opinion, some pros and cons. And by the way, I ride trail, drag, little bit of track, and very rarely dune (i wish there was dune where i live).

 

Mayby an outlaw, but i dont even know squat about that, cept the IRS, and aftermarket parts would be limited.

 

Can't loose with any of those choices, really. Those 700 Raptors seem to be putting out good ### with just an exhaust and efi controller. The YFZ isn't the best choice if you will be doing a lot of slow riding though.

 

I own an 05 Predator TLD and I love it. It is one awesome quad. Since it looks like you ride trails most, I would definantly recommend the Predator or the Raptor 700r. While I personally have no experiance with the Rappy, all I've heard about them are that they are a great machine. I don't think you could go wrong with either of the two.

 

thx for helping, my stepdad just bought a raptor 700, so next weekend, ima try it out, then we're going to the polaris dealership to try the new outlaw. Im kinda goin toward the outlaw just cause now there is 7 people that go riding with us that have raptors. still no predators come with us, but im either going with the raptor for the EFI or the outlaw for the suspension, them fox shox is evspensive $hit.
