Well I found that part out. Thanks though. I cant seem to get it on so I am trying ot take off the varb and I cant get the oil plug thing off, and I cant get the air boot things on both sides of the carb (the black rubber thing). I am having a bad first exp. with my carb. I am not going to put that tors thing on again, if I stay with that carb. I am planning on putting the z400 shock on thier and putting a 28mm carb, a 14 tooth front sprocket, parking brake block off, and maybe my oil block off kit, on their before I put the thing, back together. I am freezing my a$$ in the garage since I cant get the fire going, and its 10 below. And I am going to leave the thing alone intell I can get more parts to put on their.

Try removing the air box then the carb and then installing your reed spacer, get rid of the oil injection system and just permix the fuel. there is no reason not to use the stock carb, if you are running the stock air box lid take off the snorkel and dirll a bunch of holes inthe top of the lid apx 6-8 1.5" holes. and install a K&N.
that should put some more pop in your ride.

Okay I will try that. By the was my sig. says my mods and I have a k&n w/ outerwears, and I have 5 holes on top of the air box lid, and 1 in the air box lid where the air comes through, and already removed the snorkel. But I am going to try removing the air box and carb, or can I just remove the carb?

try to removed the boot form the box to the carb by folding it back on it self this will aid you in the reinstall for the boot. then you can removed the carb an install you spacer.
