How is the new ltr450 like handling suspension and power. I getting a new quad this summer and it so far is at the top of the list.

 

idk about the LTR....but i do have the YFZ, and i love it and the new 06 are even better. If i were you i would kinsider looking into it

 

From seeing how things usually go with suzuki, i'd wait a year or two before buying a new model from them. The z400 has been out for a while and they're still working out some major problems. At least wait 4 or 5 months and see how they do before you buy one and end up stuck with a lemon. It's not only suzuki though, look how many problems the raptor had the first year of production, the entire transmission was junk, as well as the starter one-way bearing, and some other little things. If you don't want to wait, get a honda or yamaha 450, they've been out a few years, so most of the kinks have been worked out of them by now.

about the r450, i got one. i love it. it has so much power, but all i really have to compare it to is my lil 250. the suspension is great. it is a little stiff when your out on the trails but it soaks up whoops and jumps nicely. i havent really raced any other 450 yet cuz im still gettin comfortable on this one and breaking it in. its a great quad so far

 

Ya, quality is sometimes an issue. I think suzuki i spretty conifdent on this one though. I was in at the dealer and they offered me a 2 year bumper to bumper ,anything happens, warranty for only $200 extra. Thats pretty cheap for a rested mind. This waranty was straight from suzuki, not the dealer. Again, i think suzuki is pretty confident on this one.
