Hey guys/gals. . . .I haven't been on here in forever. . .but anyhow, let's cut to the chase. . .tomorrow, thursday, my new ltr450 is suppost to be here and I can't wait!
I have a 1987 lt500r quadzilla and was wondering if the throttle response is faster on the ltr450 than on the quadzilla?? and also i was curious about the power difference between the two of them, would be about the same??
And. . .which is the quicker fourwheeler out of the holeshot??
I CAN'T WAIT!
danke,

i THINK the zilla has a more powerful motor in it. but i have never ridden either machine. but i just got an idea, put the zilla motor in the 450r frame, that is of course if the zilla motor is indeed better

Congrats on the new LTR!!!
It's the first machine that's come out that I'd even come close to concidering over the TRX.
I've talked to quit a few. Seems the LTR likes the higher rev, similiar to a 2 stroke. One guy had a Z400, then a YFZ and then got the LTR. He explained that the Z/YFZ carried the momentum longer. He needed to keep in the throttle longer of the jump with the LTR.
Another difference(s) is that the 4 strokes pull longer in a gear and they don't require much if any clutch fanning in corners.
