I'm thinking about buying an ltr450 can anybody give me a review on the quad and what think about it? Should I buy something else instead thought about the 525irs outlaw any thoughts?
Which is faster of the two?

I'm sure both are good machines but those are for 2 different riding styles. The LTR is more comfortable on the track/dunes/etc, the outlaw is more for XC/trails/etc. The IRS is nice.
Don't get me wrong, both will go most anywhere.
The LTR will be faster.

 

Both are good choices. I don't necessarily agree the LTR will be faster, that KTM motor is no joke although it will be dealing with more driveline loss and some extra weight. Let's just say they are both plenty fast for most of us mere mortals. Condition at time of sale would be important to me, but you need to honestly assess your riding style and terrain as well. Like LT80 stated, they each have an area where they excel.
