Default Buying a 04 dvx 400

Hi my nephew is buying a 04 DVX 400 we are going to start by buying a Pro design K&N kit with a pipe and jets, now what pipe seems to work best on the DVX? Plus where would be a safe place to start jetting with these mods? We live in Minnesota so approx 800FT above sea level. What jets shold be changed just the main, or the pilot and the clip. Any help with this setup would be nice, Thank you! P.W.

Beast, Yoshimura makes a great pipe for the dvx, CT will sell you the pro flow kit with there pipe, Lots of people like the Dr.D, and HMF makes a great system also. There are a ton of good systems out there, they will all give you a decent power gain. It comes down to how much noise you are willing to live with and $$. The pipe manufacturer should be able to help get you close on the jetting.
