Default 07 Kingquad 700 vs. Rincon 700

Love the two. Hit me up on these issues. I don't go rock climbing or mudding or anything, mostly smooth road and dirt. Maybe some log trailing and work. I kinda want one thats fun to drive, sportier, and has a good 4wd system. Let me know on these issues.

Reliability. I want it to last and not break down. I think Honda's got it here.

Driveability. How fun is it? Which one is a bit more sporty?

Which si better in 4wd?I need it. I hear something about diff. lock. Please elaborate.Better 4wd?

I think the KQ looks better. Whaddya think?

And the KQ's cheaper.

Any other general opinions? Please ket me know.

The Honda doesn't have a low gear or a diff lock. Therefore, with the honda you're actually a 3wd machine always in high gear. For trail riding and comfort the honda is the choice. Only quad with a more plush suspension, ride, and seat is polaris. For working, doing anykind of 4wheeling, then the zuki is your choice. For reliability, they're both good quads. They both have efi, for 06. The zuki is much faster, has low gear and the diff lock, but not the best ride of the two as far as comfort. You're going to have to weigh these options yourself and decide what means more to you. Do you pay more for Honda's better ride, comfort, and beltless tranny, or less for zuki's better 4x4 system, low gear, 20cc more, sportier ride, and faster.

Honestly, if you don't plan to rock crawl, or go mudding, either machine will be a great choice. If it were me I'd go for the KQ 700efi.

Won't argue this time, ppopeHe's right though, and to take it one step further, I think you need to test ride both of them and see for yourself. For a lot of people, they fall in love as soon as their rear hits the seat, no matter what. While I agree that the Honda probably has it on reliability just becase it's a Honda, don't think the Suzuki is not reliable and don't let people scare you with their horror stories because there's typically a catch to each one. I'm a long time Honda die-hard and I switched over to the King and have not regretted it once. Just make sure if you get the King that the dealer INCLUDES FOR FREE an aftermarket air filter. If they don't even make any mention of a different air filter for your new King, you don't have a very good dealer.

This choice is simple; the Polaris 700EFI !!! Just kidding. What's right for me probably isn't right for you. I think if you list the five things you mentioned in order of importance to you, Reliability, Drivability,4WD capability, Looks/appearance,Price, and then apply the machine that wins each category, then you should come out with a 3 to 2 winner. Good sound arguments for both machines here from both ppope and RedGoblin. Could be a tough decision between two great machines! Good luck with your decision.

By the way, I just now realized that unless you are planning for the distant future, there isn't going to be an '07 King for quite a while.
