Default z400 rear shock setup

ok, on my 03 Z im inquiring about some tips on my shock setup, have 450r front shocks, and then stock z rear shock. my current setup is 2 turns off stiffest compression and 23/32 clicks off stiffest rebound, so fairly soft rebound. im asking if anyone has some tips about my setup, i ride mostly trails but need it to be able to do some motocross conditions. thanks, i appreciate any help.

the best way to adjust your shocks is set everything in the middle and then start to adjust
everybody will tell you something different so it depends on how it feels to you.
it took me close to 1 month to get mine adjusted to my liking, trial and error just keep adjusting
