Default Warn Template

I just recently purchased a '06 500 EFI. I got it equiped with a warn winch. I noticed in the literature that there is a template that can be used to cut out a slot from the cover (where the winch is now) to limit the visability I guess. Has anyone used this template with any success? Any pics would be helpful.

I just cut mine for my 3.0XT and it weakened the panel so badly that the tabs on the bottom will not stay in the slots on the bumper. I will probably just take it off. It really didn't cover much. I had to cut about another inch off of the brake side of the cover to be able to release the spool with the cover on. I will work on some pics.

I used in on my 2.5 winch and it worked quite well. You can also order a pre cut one from your dealer. I will work on a pic

Hey thanks for the feedback guys. I've heard some complaints about this piece popping out after it is cut. If it does it's nothing lost in my opinion. If it stays put, then mission accomplished! I my opinion I think it will look better with it.

Idaho, thanks for the heads up, I will check it out.
