Default 800 crankshaft

I have read where a guy put the crank and rods from a 800 in his 700 ranger and gained some preformance. The 800's and 700's are not completely different motors the are both parallel twins.

the engines are the same, the 800 is just stroked. both the 800 and the 700 have 80mm pistons. the crank/rods are the only different parts.

The balance shaft, cylinder head, valve cover, camshaft, and control module programing are also different. Has anyone priced out what the crankshaft, camshaft, and balance shafts would cost? Probably a lot more than the price difference between a new sp700efi and sp800efi!!!!!
