Probably based off the pre 2004 or something and never changed the manual. I don't know if there is a difference between efi and carb models or not. My 2004 efi doesn't have but a couple zerks. The middle drive shaft by the brake lever has one and the ones on the end of the struts is all I have. My buddy's 500 atp doesn't have but a couple zerks also.

Polaris owner’s manuals have never been good, but in later years they’ve really become a joke. There’s very little information in there and a good portion of it is wrong. On the other hand, the factor service manuals are excellent, well worth the $40 price tag if you do any of your own mechanical/electrical work.
