You are not going to believe it. If you remember, I had all those problems with my stock carb and the slide hanging up. I went through three carbs.
I got this new YFZ, SAME thing!! LOL! I can't believe it. I took home a 2nd place trophy, too! Everything was fine until this morning when I cleaned it and then tried starting later.
I pulled the carb off and it had sand in it. I was cleaning it and the slide fell to the floor damaging the needle and the slide.
This race moved me up one spot in the overall from 5th to 4th. The next and final race is this weekend, so I am in a bit of a jam.
When I had my carb troubles, I bought a carb from Randall. Anybody know how to get a hold him?

Glad to hear of your recent sucess. Just remeber the training you recieved racing the pig through the woods is the reason you handle the yfz so good. I hope you get your carb fixed before your next race, and good luck. Holla back and keep us informed on the races!!!!

Trust me, when BRP introduces to us a GNCC racer, I will own it and let you know how it is.
In the meantime, I need some carb help for this thing. I know this is the Bomb forum, but it is the best forum for real info from real builders and mechanics. I am on the other forums and I get the feeling most bring their problems to a mechanic. I think most in here know more than what makes the DS tick.
So, I am looking for... I think it's Randall. I can't even pronounce this carb. Keihin 5TG1 00 X 1 I need some advice for it. It's the stocker on the 06 YFZ.

and if I had to guess I would say kee-hine? Or key-in?
