Default Polaris Phoenix Purchase?

Hi guys,

I bought a TB250 for my son and it is really more than he need in terms of the power etc... I am going to buy him something else but the 90's are too small for him although that is what is recommended for anyone younger than 12. Craziness. Anyway, I am looking at the Phoenix which is a 4 stroke 200 and I think it will quite a bit less powerful than the 250. The 250 will go to mom.

Anyone have any experience with these. It looks like a decent quad especially for a kid who is too big for a 90 but really not ready for the 250 2 stroke.

Thanks from Central Illinois!

Ride safe, ride sensibly, ride on!

if he fits on the 250 fine why dont you just govern it down? that way you dont have to buy a new quad and it can grow with him..

Thanks for the feedback. I did not realize I could govern it down as I did not see any throttle screws anywhere. Is there something on the carb? Thanks again.

Ride safe
