Hey guys,

Wondering how much it would cost to rebuild a 1990 Polaris 350L Trail Boss. Now I'm gonna refer to two types of rebuild to get a good sense of the two.

The first would be a top to bottom rebuild, absolutely eerything.

Second is one that only focuses on the engine, electric start, reverse(broken), lights, speedo, and a replaced exhaust.

Now, I'm doubtful if this is even possible due to the fact its from 1990 (hey, it did its damn well job for about 14 years, testament to the old, GOOD, polaris!) and it may not even be possible to get the parts for it. Plus, I don't know if its worth it, though its was an excellent quad for about 14 years, and can still throw down with the best of the new ones(plus i like the rugged no nosense construction of it).

I need your help. Should I even bother to replace this? I'm thinking if it costs around a 1000 to 1250 i might do it. Above that, not really interested.

If I do, can you guys give me an approximation for how much it'll be? This is for both types of rebuild.

I'm pretty much lost on this. I hope you guys can help.

I ordered piston and rings through ebay gasket set and rebuilt my old 90 350L this last winter.. It has a few problems but most everything works as it did originally It is amazing where it will go, I follow the new 4x4's all over through the creeks and mud, the only thing that seems to stop it is deep water the belt cover is cracked from a busted motor mount last summer.. My only complaint on the old beast is the wieght. she is HEAVEY... Where you at, I would sell mine complete for what I have in it 1800.00 need the space in the garage, has a winch and rear box..
