2001 425 expedition water pump

If the water pump seal goes bad would it cause the crankcase to fill up with coolant?

2 Seals would need to go bad I believe. The water seal and oil seal. Normally when the water seal goes bad the water leaks out of the weep hole and doesn't get into oil.

Might be head gasket.

2001 425 expedition water pump

If the weep hole is stopped up and the mechanical seal is bad the crankcase can fill up with coolant. Had it happen to one of my old Xpeditions.
