Yeah I know this is an ATV forum, a bomb forum, but just wanted some input from you guys, especially those that have them.

I'm buying a 2003 Kawasaki Ninja 500 for 3k. Good price? It's got 9k miles on it, and is still under warranty until 2008. This will be my first bike, so I thought it was a good size to begin on. Also, it has been kept up on maintanence and appears to be mechanically sound from my look-throughs.

Phil that sounds al little steep for around here (midwest) I see them going for $2500 or so.
Not sure about AZ prices though, shop around. Or pay that price for one with very few miles.
Welcome to the street but be careful of all the others on the road.

If we lived closer do some riding together! I have had street bikes since I was 18..... too long to think about

I agree with the way too much and with that kind of miles it should be way below $2500. If you do happen to buy it I am afraid you will tire quickly of this bike unless its like going back and forth to work to save fuel. I would rather pay twice as much and get a new machine like the Suzuki SV650 for about $5900 and it would run circles around the small Ninja and will be a machine that you won't tire of.
